eLearning: Digital Citizenship Fundamentals: Safety & Security

The need for 21st Century technical and soft skills, good global citizenship behavior, and critical thinking ability all come into play whenever using a digital device connected to the Internet. ISTE Standards and the US Department of Education have called for increased awareness and instruction for young people on safeguarding their private information and data online. This course is intended for youths, young adults, and anyone needing to brush-up on their cybersecurity knowledge.

This mobile-friendly course was customized using existing learning materials and videos that were packaged and exported to my website with Articulate 360. Lessons include the importance of creating strong passwords, best practices for using public wi-fi safely, protecting your reputation and personal information on social media, avoiding malware, and browsing the Internet safely.
