Learning Objectives

Models for Instructional Design

Scenarios

The following document reflects my training resolutions, planned around two assigned scenarios as part of a graduate course in Instructional Design & Technology that I recently completed at the University of Maryland (2020). My task was to use Bloom’s Taxonomy and class readings to develop learning objectives based on the context of the each situation presented.

First, I had to determine an appropriate goal, then develop learning objectives to align to the goal.  Alignment of learning objectives with the goal is very important and makes it easier to create assessment measures that can accurately determine whether learning has taken place.  I have briefly concluded each with a set of questions I would ask my Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to assist me in determining action steps toward designing the training project.
